Milovan Rajevac, the coach of the Black Stars has requested that the Ghana Football Association provide him with the previous three Nigerian matches to examine in preparation for the World Cup playoff two-legged games.
After Ghana’s dismal performance at the 2021 AFCON, many Ghanaians, including some high-ranking government officials, have demanded that the Black Stars’ head coach be fired.
The Black Stars finished last in their group, which included Morocco, Gabon, and the Comoros.
There have been numerous allegations in the local media that the coach has been sacked, but Kessben Sports investigations have revealed that Serbian has yet to receive any correspondence in this regard.
Before the important World Cup play-offs match against Nigeria, the ministry of sports wants the coach fired and replaced with a new coach.
However, the football organization believes that, given the little amount of time left to prepare for the playoff game, the coach should be forced to stay on.
The country’s football governing body has stated that they are willing to terminate the coach’s contract if the Ministry of Sports issues an official mandate to do so, taking into account all contractual and financial obligations.
