Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah hopes the team gets better after a slow start in the Africa Cup of Nations

The Black Stars are yet to record a victory after two games. .

A 2-2 draw with Benin and a goalless stalemate with Cameroon leaves Ghana with no option than to win the final Group match against Guinea Bissau on Tuesday. .

Many have not been enthused with the team’s performance at this year’s Cup of Nations tournament so far but Kwesi Appiah believes his side will pick up. .

“If you check this for many years, Ghana doesn’t really start competitions very well. For me the Cameroon game was very good improvement,” he said in a presser.

“You know a good team is not the one that starts (competitions) very well but one that ends very well.

“I have a lot of confidence in my team, most of the times we don’t start well in championships but the game against Cameroon was a better performance than Benin and I am very sure of a much better performance against Guinea Bissau.”

The Black Stars left their base in Ismailia to Suez yesterday and have since been preparing for the game against Guinea Bissau. .
