Ghana Card Will End Age Cheating In Sports – Bawumia

Covid-19, Banking Clean-Up, Payment Of Excess Power Accounted For High Ghana's Debt – Bawumia

Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia, vice president of Ghana, has stated that the Ghana Card, a national identity card, will put an end to the practice of age-cheating in sports.

He says that this is true since the Ghana card, which contains all of a person’s information, cannot be changed. As a result, if players are asked to participate in national assignments, they will be required to provide their Ghana cards in order to prevent systemic fraud.

When he was arguing that he would chose the Ghana Card over 1,000 interchanges in Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia made this point clear.

Fake birth certificates were a significant issue for our nation, making it exceedingly challenging for people to believe our credentials at embassies and elsewhere because they were easily obtained. In fact, when we visited the birth and death register, we discovered three separate databases, which we had to combine.

You won’t need false birth documents once you have a distinct identity because there won’t be a football age versus regular age difference.

That transaction will be completed. You are likely aware that our women’s team was recently suspended for fielding some players who were overage. Hopefully, from now on, we’ll firmly demand that they bring their Ghana card before they can register to vote.
