Ghanawish.com can confirm that; Sofoline drivers union in the Ashanti region , Kumasi reveals how Kumasi metropolitan Assembly has embezzled an outstanding sum of seventeen thousand, four hubdred and forty Ghana cedis .
According to the chairman of the drivers union, the have petitioned K.M.A for more than a year now but its seems they have decided not to pay the arrears.
Also, they documented the arrears which was filled by the the SOFOLINE DRIVERS UNION ASSOCIATION SOLICITOR
On the 2nd February,2019,but until now, there’s no tangible feedback from K.M.A
However, the Association has threatened to take them on if the money is not paid within a week , either wrath or court .

According to sofoline drivers union chairman, the Association has recieveds toll for the K.M.A and this workers and their salary structure above should be paid by the KMA but they have refused to pay and the G.P.R.T.U of took it upon itself to pay this workers up to date.
They invited KMA several times but due to the lack of respect have for them, they have never made it to their invitation before. he added
