George Afriyie attacks coaches over national team players call ups

Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie has launched a scathing attack on the managers of football in the country over the way call ups to the National Team’s are made.

According to him, during his time in office, invited players were scrutinized before the list was submitted to the public.

Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports which was monitored by GHANAWISH.COM, the President of Okyeman Planners said: “Call ups to the national teams is a complete joke because previously if you are a coach and you invited players, management will subject them to scrutiny and you have to justify why you called this player or why you did not call this other one.”
