The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced the commencement of the 2019/2020 enlistment process for regular career and short service commission officers.
GAF, in a statement, said it has advertised the commencement of the enlistment process in the state-owned dailies.
The statement, signed by GAF Public Relations Director A. La-Anyane, said: “The scratch cards for the online application are on sale across the country at designated Ghana Post offices”.
A card costs GHS50.
The statement noted that: “The portal for the online application has been activated, hence, interested persons can log on to www.gafrecruitment.com to apply”.
The closing date for the submission of online application forms is Sunday, 17 December 2019.
GAF, however, reminded the general public that it does “not employ middlemen or charge fees for enlistment” and advised the public to “desist from paying monies” to any person(s) who present(s) themselves as agents or middlemen with the promise to help them get enlisted.
The statement also urged the public to report to the nearest military installation or police station, anyone or group of persons who present themselves as middlemen, intermediaries or agents and demand payment in order to assist them get recruited
