Four vehicles have been mangled after they were involved in a gory road accident on Accra-Kumasi Highway,
The vehicles include a Metro bus, a truck and two mini buses all loaded with passengers.
serious injuries and deaths were recorded during the crash, passengers who were injured in the legs and other parts was taken to the hospital.
The accident resulted in a heavy vehicular traffic, on that section, taking the intervention of two military and emergency Police personnel who arrived at the scene to direct traffic.
Confirming the story to the Media, Police Commander, Superintendent of Police Mr Samuel Marfo said initial investigations revealed that the Land Cruiser, which was from Kumasi, burst one of its back tyres.
He said in a bid to control the vehicle, the driver ran into the Sprinter bus which was coming from Accra, leading to the instant death of the some passengers on board.
He said the police and other people were quickly informed and they rushed to the scene to rescue the injured, who were rushed to Hospital.
