The Central Regional Police Command has arrested four persons believed to be armed robbers for stealing sixty (60) cattles that belongs to one businessman at Gomoa Kweikrom in the Central Region of Ghana. The arrested robbers have been sent to the headquarters of Police in the Central Region for more enquiries.
According to the residents, the four arrested persons who are in the police custody now are believed to be part of the terror gangs in their vicinity that have been giving them sleepless nights and fears all day long. The four arrested armed robbers were part of a gang of ten terrorist who secretly entered the Cattles farm at Gomoa Kweikrom to steal the cattles. Upon their entry, one person believed to have seen that, they were there to steal the cattles got his one eye wounded with a machete by the armed robbers and went away with the cattles. Ganiyu Moses, a worker at the ranch in an interview with Atinka News stated that, ‘ the eyewitness who was wounded with machete by the armed robbers is receiving treatment at the Trauma And Specialist Hospital, Winneba’.
After running away with the cattles, the robbers settled down in Gomoa Akotsi. A joint team of Police Officers from the Police Headquarters used an intelligent way and strict investigations to figure out the hideouts of the robbers who were on the run in Gomoa Akotsi in the Central Region of Ghana and arrested the four robbers.
