Information picked revealed that, fire has gut the Habana Hospital in Tamale in the afternoon of Monday, 29th March, 2021.
The fire outbreak, according to source has destroyed expensive hospital equipment, health consumables and the parts of the building.
The fire was brought under control by an able team from the National Fire Service.
Management of Habana Hospital is working around the clock to tidy the environment and resume services hopefully by Wednesday, 31st March, 2021 at exactly 12 noon.
In a statement issued by the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital Dr. Thomas W. Anabah said, until then, the public should take note of the following;
1. no emergency case should be rushed to the facility
2. all clients who have appointments for Thursday, 30th March and and Wednesday, 31st March, 2021 can come from Thursday onwards.
Management has assured the public that, an announcement shall be cause to remind you of resumption.
