A Ghanaian nurse, Miss. Vera Asamoah has reportedly gone missing since last Friday, 26th March, 2021; information available to close relatives suggest she was last seen around Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.

A picture of the beautiful nurse who is a member of Pastor Mensah Otabil’s International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) has been shared on Facebook by the church.

Details are scant about the circumstances leading to her disappearance but followers who are commenting on the post and sharing same have expressed fears that she might have been kidnapped.
This is not the first time that a Ghanaian nurse has gone missing.
In 2020, a nurse, Ruth Eshun who went missing was later found murdered and dumped in a bush at Sewua in the Bosomtwi District of the Ashanti Region.
It was speculated that she was gang raped before her murder; this forced the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association to mount pressure on government to find and bring the perpetrators to book.
We hope that Miss. Vera Asamoah would be found safe and sound; kindly share this article to reach as many people as possible in order to help locate our dear nurse.
