It’s obvious Wendy Shay is exempted from the laws of freedom of speech due to the ‘crucifixion’ she receives from Ghanaians anytime she shares her opinion on social media.
The Rufftown Records signee issued a strong warning to music enthusiasts not to pair her with any Ghanaian artiste for none of them is on the same level as her.
Affirming her statement, the artiste on Thursday, April 2, 2020, took to Twitter and wrote; I Dey see say some people dey pair Artists together….me if eno be Beyoncé make nobody pair me with any Artist, Ghana wakes up !!
This comes following Sarkodie’s pairing game between music producers. The game dubbed #BehindDaHitz blew up on the internet when renowned producers, Jay Q and Appietus, served fans and followers with hit songs from the 90s.
However, several netizens in Ghana couldn’t resist Wendy Shay’s statement as they launched a ferocious attack on the artiste on Twitter.
@mukadas_maestro initiated the attack by saying; Seriously first na afiga say Ghanaians hate you for no reason oo, saaaana you hy3da nor correct like that. Eno barony sef we nor go take you compare am na Queen B
@IzaicKumy added that; Wo p3 jimie oo
