A fake hand sanitizer manufacturer has been nabbed by the Techiman divisional police command.
A thirty nine year old man Opoku Ababio is reported to be the manufacturer of the fake products.
Presenting the facts of the arrest to the media,the divisional crime officer DSP Kofi Sarkodie Addo said the command got a tip off that,some people are taking advantage of the out break of the Corona virus and are selling fake hand sanitizers to the general public because the products are of high demand.
He said his outfit rushed to the place and apprehended those who were selling the products( *hand sanitizers*) to the unsuspecting people.
DSP Kofi Addo further explained that,upon interrogations, the marketers led them to the residence of Opoku Ababio,where the products are produced.
He said they retrieved other products which are produced by the suspect.
“We retrieved the following products from the suspect when we got to his residence;Liquid soap,mama Doro hand sanitizer,man power capsules and other products”, DSP Addo stressed

Meanwhile the divisional crime officer said, the suspect is well known for producing such products so he calls himself *doctor Mina*.

He advised the general public not to purchase any product they see on the market because such products could be dangerous than the cure they are looking for.
He finally sounded a word of caution to those who want to take advantage of the Corona outbreak and dupe the public to be on the look out because the police service will fish them
