Tyson Fury says a potential fight with Deontay Wilder will be ‘the biggest fight in over 100 years’. The current heavyweight champion of the world – the holder of the WBO, WBA and IBO belts – will have to face Wladimir Klitschko in a rematch later this year first. But Fury’s meeting with the unbeaten Wilder is only a matter of time. The 27-year-old self-proclaimed Gypsy King made the headlines last week as Wilder defeated Artur Szpilka for the WBC belt. Fury stormed into the ring to insult the American, claiming ‘any time, any place, anywhere. I’ll beat you. You’re a bum.’ Discussing their inevitable bout, Fury told Kick Off: “It reignites the heavyweight division. “It will be the biggest fight in over 100 years in heavyweight boxing. When was the last time you got two undefeated giants fighting each other? “One from the United Kingdom, one from the United States, both very vocal, both handsome, both young and both undefeated. “I’m 27 years old now, I’m undisputed champion of the world in my eyes. “What more can I win, like my dad said if I win another 50 fights from now on, I will never accomplish what I did on 28th November in Dusseldorf. “A man doesn’t come more confident than Tyson Fury. I don’t know how much more confident I can get. “[The Wilder bout] is a bigger fight in the UK to be honest. “I think Deontay Wilder must come to the UK. “If he’s the legitimate champion, he must come to me. If it comes to shove, I would go to America providing my trainer can get into the USA.” The first obstacle for Fury is the rematch with Klitschko, with the venue and date yet to be confirmed. Fury said: “I am hoping it’s ASAP. “I don’t care where, if I have to go to Germany again, OK. “I’d prefer it to be in the UK because I want to the lions’ den for him, I’d expect the favour returned. “My dream is to fight at Old Trafford. I’ve been going there from being a little kid and I always said I dreamed of fighting at the [Manchester] United football ground. “If I can’t fight there, then Wembley would be acceptable. If not Wembley then Cardiff. If not Cardiff then Stockport County, who knows – anywhere in the UK!”
