E/R ; Abisim Dawa residents demonstrate against Suhum MCE and MP over bad bridge and roads.

 

Residents of Suhum Nankese Abisim Dawa of the Eastern region has demonstrated against Suhum Municipal Chief Executive, Margaret Darko and Member of Parliament for the area over their bad bridge and roads in the community.
Abisim Dawa Odikro Baffour Nangba has noted community members will not vote in the 2020 general elections if the roads are not fixed before time.

Abisim Dawa Odikro Baffour Gjamgba speaking with Ahotor Fm news reporter Eric Nyarko,has warned that 2020 general elections no community members will vote for any political party. Odikro say all the community roads and Bridge are in bad state and have been affecting economic activities.

He said, they have cocoa, cassava, plantain because of the bad bridge and roads in their community they cannot bring their foodstuff to the market. According to him Abisim Dawa is a farming community but access to portable state of bridge and roads is a major challenge making the people very poor since all their harvests were left to rot due to the deplorable state of roads. He therefore appealed to the government to fix their deplorable bridge and roads before 2020 general elections.

Some of the residents lamented to Ahotor Fm news reporter Eric Nyarko, saying that their member of parliament Hon Opare Ansah since they voted for him he has never stepped his feet in the community. They said.
