Don’t Take NDC For Granted –NPP Organizer

Francis Adomako

THE OPPOSITION National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not be an easy nut to crack by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2020 national elections.

In this regard, members of the NPP have been urged to sustain hard work and campaign vigorously so that their anticipated electoral victory will be achieved.

The Ashanti Regional NPP Organizer, Mr. Francis Adomako, who is popularly known in political circles as Francois, gave the advice during the inauguration ceremony of the Affigya Kwabre South NPP Youth Wing.

He said the NPP should confront the upcoming elections with all seriousness because the NDC would attack from all fronts.

According to him, the 2016 electoral defeat shook the foundation of the NDC, for which reason the members of the party would want to launch a fight back.

He said the NPP stands the greatest chance to win the upcoming elections by virtue of the numerous positive policies and programmes by the government, but if they are not properly sold to the public there will be a problem for the party.

“President Akufo-Addo is doing his best. He has introduced the Free SHS and other laudable policies but we still need to campaign vigorously so that we will retain power and sustain our good works,” he asserted.

Mr. Adomako pointed out that “positive policies alone cannot win elections” when complacency sets in, stressing that the NPP members needed to embark on a campaign based on issues, an area he said “the NDC does not like to go.”
