“Don’t see your revenue as profit, reinvest whatever you make back into the business and put the business first” – John Dumelo shares business advice

Actor, entrepreneur, and politician John Dumelo has shared some noteworthy counsel on how to succeed at one’s business.

Speaking in an interview with Rev Erskine on YFM, the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency advised that every entrepreneur should never see his or her revenue as profit.

He said mistaking one’s revenue for profit will surely collapse the business or render the entrepreneur bankrupt.

John Dumelo advised that any penny made from a business should be reinvested into the growth of the venture to ensure that the business grows.

According to him, the number one mistakes young and inexperienced entrepreneurs make is to squander their revenue thinking it is profit which eventually leaves the business hanging.

“Don’t see your revenue as profit! Always try and reinvest whatever you make back into the business Always put the business first!” he said.

John Dumelo also spoke about his political ambition and when and how he harnessed the dream of becoming a politician. He expressed hope at unseating the current MP for the constituency he is vying for.
