Ghanaian singer Efe Keys broke into the music scene with her hit song, ‘Juju’ and has released a couple of songs, it is ‘juju’ which made people fell in love with her talent and knew she had something good in her.
She was with Zylofon Arts Club when she released the popular song and has revealed the inspiration behind the song. According to her in an interview with Chris Handler, the song was inspired by a real-life experience back in the University.
She narrated that she was in Level 200 by then when she fell so much in love with a guy. In her narration, she noted that the guy wasn’t the kind of guy every lady would want to date and she saw nothing special in him but she fell for him so much that it led to her failing one of her course papers.
Detailing what led to her failing the exam, Efe Keys revealed that she was brokenhearted by his action which affected her so much that she had to fail the paper due to lack of concentration. It was at a later time she recalled the incidence and how she fell so much in love and thought maybe she was under a love spell.
It was with this thought that she came up with the song ‘juju’.
