Don’t Blame Government For Recent Dumsor – Prophet Oduro

The head pastor and founder of the Alabaster International Ministry Prophet Kofi Oduro has assigned Biblical reasons to the current economic hardships in the country.

According to the man of God, some Ghanaians have recently been complaining about unstable power supply popularly known as Dumsor, whilst others are unhappy with the hikes in taxes.

Prophet Kofi Oduro reveals that the economic hardship is not only peculiar to Ghana but other world giants are also facing similar challenges.

He made these remarks during a resurrection sermon at his Church on Sunday, April 4, 2021. According to Prophet Kofi Oduro, the problems in the world are largely due to human behavior and even if Jesus Christ becomes President, the challenges will persist.

“Even if Jesus becomes President and we do not change our ways, this country will never move forward. We will never develop. I know that most of you have started complaining bitterly. We already have Dumsor on our heads right now. And we have emerging taxes that we are dealing with. Kejetia traders embarked on a demonstration recently. But I want to tell everybody that, we cannot blame these on government. Even though our government and our economy is not functioning very well, we must all know that it not only in Ghana that is facing such challenges”. He noted.

According to him, the current challenges are Biblical and everyone must look to God for intervention because government will continue to fail.

He adds that the Akufo Addo government is working to ensure the economy turns around but the Bible says things will continue to get worse.

“It is part of Biblical prophecy, so instead of looking on government, you better look up to God because government will fail you big time. This government wishes everything turns around and everybody will have a good life but the bible said things will get worse than we are seeing. These are all signs that the second coming of Christ is near.” He noted.
