Multiple award-winning gospel singer and preacher, evangelist Diana Asamoah has revealed that it is not wrong for a Christian lady to wear trousers or make up. The inspirational singer in an interview revealed that, as knowledge of the word increases, she gets to understand it more.
Evangelist Diana Asamoah was among the few Ghanaian preachers who spoke against women wearing make up and trousers, however upon appearing in an interview, she was spotted with full make up in her face, this prompted the interviewer to question whether she has changed her course of message.
The interviewer asked ‘ you used to preach against women wearing make ups but I’ve seen your face full of make ups , have u changed the message?’
Replying to the interviewer, Evangelist Diana Asamoah revealed that knowledge increases and as knowledge increases,man should adapt to changes. According to her,she has realised those things neither makes you a sinner or a righteous.
She explained how he used to even see Christians who visit hotel as sinners.
When asked why change of message, she explained as she travels and being exposed to different cultures and lifestyles, she realised salvation is not about the clothes you wear or putting on make ups.
“Shouldn’t the Christian also look beautiful?” She queried.
She added that it’s about obeying the word of God, Christian can also enjoy the fashion trend too.
