Dede Ayew Is Now The Captain Of The Blackstars, Asamoah Gyan Promoted

According to Ghanawish.com’s sources, Ghana’s national football team will now be captained by Fenerbahce striker, Andre Dede Ayew, following an announcement made by the GFA Normalization committee.

Inter Milan’s Kwadwo Asamoah, has been named as the Deputy Captain and Asamoah Gyan has been promoted as the General Captain of the team. This comes after some confusion between Gyan and Kwesi Appiah which saw the black stars all-time top scorer announcing his retirement from National duties.

However, after the intervention of H.E Nana Addo, Gyan rescinded his decision and he will now join the team for this year’s AFCON in Egypt as the General Captain. A role we haven’t heard before.
