COVID-19: “This is not politics, we should fight together it world problem and everybody is fighting” -Aseidu Nketsia

The General Secretary of the largest oppostion National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah is  urging Ghanaians to be supportive of each other during the coronavirus outbreak saying This is not politics, we should fight together it world problem and everybody is fighting let us do the same as a country”, 

In an interview on Ahotor FM monitored by Ghanawish.com , General Mosquito as he is popularly known said the world is in its challenging time hence people need to stand together to fight the virus that does not discriminate between race, origin, and political background.

“This is not politics, we should fight together it world problem and everybody is fighting let us do the same as a country”, he told the host Citizen Kofi Owusu. The General Secretary added that Ghanaians should, however, not neglect the directives given by the health officials. Ghana’s Coronavirus cases have jumped from 68 to 132. The death toll, however, remains 3, confirms the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

According to the GHS “As on the morning of 26 March 2020, a total of fifty-four (54) cases including three (3) deaths have been confirmed from the regular surveillance systems. All three (3) cases that unfortunately succumbed to the disease were aged and had underlying chronic medical conditions.

“All the other fifty-one (51) cases are well; fourteen (14) are being managed at home and the rest is responding well to treatment on admission in isolation. They are awaiting their test results and will be discharged when the results are negative”.
