Tempers are currently high at the Ashanti regional party office of the National Democratic Congress.
Supporters of the Asawase constituency parliamentary candidate Masawud Mubarick are currently boiling with rage at the party office over why until now regional executives have not opened up the party office to make way for the filling of the nomination forms of their beloved candidate. Sl
As at the time of filling this story, the office which per normal working hours opens at 08:00am has until now not been opened by party officials.
Currently, there is no regional party official around to assure supporters on how soon the office will be opened.
It still remains unclear to the media and sympathisers as to why officials have refused to show up to unlock the doors to make way for the submission of the nomination forms of the candidate.
Should this be described as a delibrate attempt on the part of the regional party executives to subotage the chances of the candidate from contesting the incumbent MP for Asawase Constituency Hon Muntakar Muburak?
However in an interview with the candidate he was shocked to his bones over the inactions of the regional executives.
According to him, the locking up of the party office is clearly an act of sabotage masterminded against him by the regional party executives to the advantage of the character of their choice.
He has vowed that he plus his supporters are not leaving the premises of the regional office until the closing hour 5:00pm.
