A class three pupil of Dace Demonstration School in Dambai, Oti Region, has died after hanging himself to death.
What led him to commit suicide is yet to be confirmed
Prior to the incident, the 10-year-old Isaac Nana Kwame Essuman had refused to follow his mother to church with the excuse that he was ill.
A co-tenant who identified himself as Prince said he had seen Isaac prior to the incident.
“Nana Kwame came and welcomed me. I gave him a loaf of bread together with my children and even asked him to wait outside since he wanted to watch a movie in my room. He normally comes around whenever I returned from a journey or work,” he recounted.
The CID Department of the Ghana Police Service in the Krachi East Municipal District has conveyed Isaac’s body to the Worawora Government Hospital for investigation.
