- Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is very fond of Hakimi and would like to have him at the club come next season.
- Budnesliga duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the Moroccan right-back.
- Recent reports have claimed that Madrid want to keep the 21-year-old at least until 2025.
Chelsea are interested in signing Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi on loan once his current loan at Borussia Dortmund ends.
The Mirror states that Blues coach Frank Lampard ‘really likes’ the right-back and could push his board to lure the Moroccan in the summer.
However, Chelsea will have to battle against the competition of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and well, of Madrid themselves. BVB don’t have a buyout clause included in his loan deal but they would surely be willing to keep him for much longer.
Hakimi has been one of Dortmund’s best players in the 2019/20 season. The Morocco international has bagged 7 goals and made 10 assists in all competitions this campaign. The defender’s loan spell at Borussia Dortmund ends in June.
Whilst, as a result, Madrid are reportedly willing to offer the 21-year-old a new long-term contract. Hakimi’s current deal with Los Blancos is set to end in summer 2022 but Zidane is willing to keep the right-back at least until 2025.
