Ghana is safe and peaceful despite the few challenges that exist, broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah has said in her opinion, the West African country will remain peaceful.
If there will be chaos and anarchy in Ghana, however, the media will be the cause of it, she said, explaining that the media exaggerates. The country has recently been buffeted by kidnappings and a few inter-ethnic conflicts.
Speaking on Accra FM Friday, 21 June 2019, however, Nana Aba Anamoah said: “Ghana is safe.”
She added: “Ghana is one of the peaceful countries in Africa and it will remain forever. I think the only thing that will trigger a problem is the media. “The media exaggerates, the media creates a lot of problems. It is not the politicians because the politicians know nothing.
“If you invited NPP and NDC reps who know nothing about economics to appear on your morning show to speak on the economy, what will you expect to happen?
“The politicians know nothing apart from trying to score political points and if the media does not invite them, how then will they be able to incite their followers against the other. “That won’t be possible, so, if there will be chaos it will be triggered by the media”, she told host Nana Romeo.
On the performance of the Akufo-Addo administration, she said she would score the government between 68 and 78 per cent.
