Rapper, Okyeame Kwame has shared his views on the subject and maintained that he doesn’t see anything wrong with the punishment like the way Ghanaians are making it look like.
“There is something i like about the ban- there is no date on it, so upon good behaviour, VGMAS board will take them back. If after 2 years they still didn’t call them back to join the scheme, then i would termed it as harsh,” he said.
He continued, “The ban was deserving. With how the news was fast spreading in the International world, and how the outside media was on our case, there has to be some punitive measures, and so, the organizers did that so as to reduce the quick-spread of the incident, and to let the World know that we have laws in Ghana’.
Like we said, earlier today Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy met face to face for the first time since their 2019 VGMA fracas few hours ago at the Mariot Hotel in Accra, for their peacemaking process dubbed, ‘Peace Conference.’
The great initiative was masterminded by Dr Kofi Abban and GHone newscaster, Nana Aba Anamoah. Both artists took time to answer questions from the media and the specially invited guests and it was a great delight to see two bitterest enemy finally smoking the peace pipe for the sake of their fans and advancement of the industry.
