Multi hit maker, Captain Planet has advocated for contributions from musicians to transport Pappy Kojo back into the country.
According to him, the four weeks lockdown in Italy was not an easy thing for a person to endure, therefore all musicians should contribute to fly the “balance” hit maker back home.
In a post on Twitter which was Sighted by GHANAWISH RADIO (GHANAWISH.COM) today, Captain planet noted that it was important for Pappy Kojo to be united with his family, especially during the difficult times the world was encountering.
He stated that such times deserved to be spent with loved ones and would be unfair if the singer get locked up in someone’s country.
Considering the difficult it was to stay in the house alone, he advocated for contributions to be made in the hip hop singer ‘s name to bring him back home.
Currently in Ghana, the major epicenters including Greater Accra Region and the Ashanti Region were partially locked down to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among the indigenes.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo placed a two week ban on movement and has deepened rules pertaining to the closure of borders in the country to disallow foreigners to enter into the country.
The residents of these two epicenters have almost spent a week on the movement restrictions and have left with one week, although anything could happen within the week left as the government said its decision was subjected to constant review.
In a bid to mitigate the spread of the virus, various countries including Italy and United States of America have locked the place down.
This is to protect those who have not contracted the virus to stay safe, in an earlier post of Pappy Kojo he appealed to the government to fly him home with a private jet which the Ministry of Tourism declined.
