Wontumi Morning Show panelist, Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has called on the Chairman of the Ghana Peace Council, Rev. Asante Antwi to call for the immediate arrest of former President John Mahama for violating the COVID-19 protocols in Accra in when he visited one of the Centers of the ongoing voters’ registration exercise.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio and TV on Wednesday, Nana Oteatuoso stressed that, he is disappointed in the Peace Council Chairman for calling for the arrest of the MP of Awutu Senya East, Hawa Koomson for firing gunshots at registeration center.
“You are calling for the arrest of Hawa Koomson for firing gunshots but has forgotten the unguarded statement made by Muhammad Muntaka and Bernard Mornah prior to the commencement of the registeration exercise.” He affirmed on Wontumi Radio and TV
Nana Oteatuoso lamented bitterly that, Rev. Asante Antwi if fully aware that, some NDC members received double salary.
“What Rev. Asante Antwi said is uncalled for He should go ahead and arrest Hawa Koomson. You are a leader and if you want peace you must practice peace.” He emphasized
According to Nana Oteatuoso some NDC members have had discussion with the Peace Council Chairman on the need to arrest Hawa Koomson but it won’t wash.
He however admonished Rev. Asante Antwi to be fair and impartial in his uterrances
