Burna Boy’s ‘African Giant’ Album Nominated For Grammy Awards (+Full List Of Nominations)

The latest studio album of Nigerian musician Burna Boy dubbed African Giant has been nominated for Grammy Awards which will be hosted on January 26, 2020.

The nominees for the 2020 Grammy Awards were announced few hours ago on CBS This Morning by president/CEO Deborah Dugan and Academy Chair of the Board of Trustees and producer Harvey Mason Jr., along with host Alicia Keys and Bebe Rexha. 

The album which was released on July 26, 2019 also featured Ghanaian rapper M.anifest on song Another Story. 

Burma Boy was nominated in the Best World Album category alongside Altin Gün for Gece, Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley for What Heat, Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet for Fanm D’Ayiti, and Angelique Kidjo for Celia.

Grammy Award, or Grammy, is an award presented by The Recording Academy to recognize achievements in the music industry. The trophy depicts a gilded gramophone. 

The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists, and the presentation of those awards that have a more popular interest.
