British High Commission Warns Akufo-Addo

British High Commission has reportedly sent a delegation to the Jubilee House to caution against potential chaos that may ensue over the controversial new voters’ register.

Multiple sources tell WhatsUp News that the British made it clear that they value Ghana as a stabilizer in a sub-region and that the controversies over the register could be a watershed in that stabilizer position.

This confirmation from WhatsUp News sources is coming after the allegation was first made by controversial journalist, Kevin Taylor. According to Mr. Taylor, the delegation was from the British High Commission in Accra.

He made the revelation in the same video that he alleged that the President has directed the Chief Justice, Kwesi Anin Yeboah to ensure that in the case that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has brought against the Electoral Commission’s move to compile a new register is decided in favour of the EC.

It is in this same video as well, that Mr. Ekow Taylor reveals that President Akufo-Addo stands to make US$7million from the compilation of the new register while the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensah and others at the Commission stand to make US$5.5million.

Meanwhile, the revelation that the British have warned Akufo-Addo has also been confirmed by US-based broadcaster, Kweku Skirt.

“If Akufo-Addo says I am lying he should come out and deny. Is it true that the British Embassy today went to meet Akufo-Addo…they went there 3:45. if they say they are men, let them take me to court,” he said on one online video.

“The British Embassy went to Akufo-Addo’s place and warned that the way he is taking the country may take away the peace and so he should change his ways,” he said i
