Embattled Ghanaian actress Rosemond Brown, well known as Akuapem Poloo has been jailed for 3 months by an Accra circuit court today 16th April 2021.
The popular actress was convicted on Wednesday 14th match after pleading guilty to three charges labeled against her.
Her conviction became a topic of discussion in the public domain with all high profile personalities throwing their support behind her but their campaign couldn’t influence the court’s final judgment of giving her a jail term.
The Accra circuit court presided over by Her Honour Christina who deferred Akuapem Poloo to undergo pregnancy test before announcing the sentence made it known the outcome of the test reveals she is not pregnant.
Akuapem Poloo was charged with the publication of nude pictures with her seven-year-old son and change her not guilty plea to guilty before being convicted.
