Ghanaian boxer, Patrick Allotey who beat up a Kumasi Asante Kotoko fan mercilessly for jubilating in front of him after GPL Super clash on Sunday 26th January 2020 at the Accra Sports Stadium, has finally been arrested.
The Police placed an arrest warrant and a bounty on the head of Allotey after he was captured in a video assaulting a Kotoko fan after Kotoko beat arc rivals Accra Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Boxer who currently holds the WBO Africa Super Welterweight title apologized to the victim Michael Siaw and opted that the case is settled out of court but Michale has been adamant insisting he will pursue the case using the law.
Allotey who feared to go to prison for his misconduct went into hiding after charges were pressed against him but according to the latest development, the boxer has been arrested and is now in the custody of the Regional Crime Office in Accra.
