Bishop Obinim ordered to pay Ghc1.6million after being sacked from court.

The richest pastor in Ghana who went into a battle of richest with Honerable Kennedy Agyapong who was arrested previous weeks ago and given bail some days time petitioned court to ease his restrictions given to him in other to do away with some charges placed on him but the court threw him away and decided not to take his plead into concern and ordered him to pay an amount of Ghc1.6million.

During his arrest he was asked to pay an amount of Ghc100,000 and provide three of his houses for release but he couldn’t pay the amount of money which is far lower than the money he has been ordered to pay. Mr. Kennedy promised to let the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) come after him to make him explain how he was able to send some amount of money outside the country to buy house’s and also receive money outside the country without tax being taken from it, the amount of money sent and allegedly received by Obinim is to be around $700m. He could be ordered by the GRA to pay over Ghc10million as one pastor who’s name has not been named public has been asked to pay an amount of over Ghc3.5million.
