Bawumia Is Probably Irritated By The Akyem Guys – Captain Smart Alleges

The host of Onua TV Morning Show, Captain Smart claims a clique within the administration is frustrating Vice President Mahammudu Bawumia, preventing him from successfully operating.

According to him, the Veep’s generally cheerful demeanor has evaporated in recent months, and he attributes this to the Akyem people ‘doing him in.’

Captain Smart voiced misgivings on his show on November 24, 2021, regarding whether Bawumia’s complete opinion was taken into consideration when the budget was being worked on.

“When you first started working at the NPP, Ken Agyapong was someplace else, without knowing what was going on.” Do you recall what happened? Is it possible that you’re being prevented from working?” “I have a suspicion that the Akyem folks are smothering Bawumia,” he said.”

“Bawumia used to be cheerful, but not any longer.” He’s being suffocated by the Akyem gang. He’s frustrated, therefore he can’t maintain his cheerful demeanor. I get a feeling he isn’t being given complete freedom to do his job “He made a point.

Captain Smart cited just Gabby (Asare Otchere-Darko) as the Vice President’s irritant, alluding to him as Prime Minister in the Akufo-Addo cabinet.

Captain Smart challenged the president with ordering the reversal of new levies, notably the Electronic Transactions Levy (E-levy), or face large demonstrations. “On the E-levy, Nana, if everything is well, please tell the Finance Minister to cancel it since you are essentially making this country ungoverned.”

“It is not anyone who is making Ghana ungovernable,” I said at your last cabinet meeting before your Glasgow trip, when my name was suggested. You, along with your clueless ministers, are the ones who are making this country unmanageable for you,” he accused.
