The Founder and Leader of Faith Redemption Chapel International Prophet Elisha Arhin has charged the Inspector-General of Police(IGP) Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh and the National Media Commission(NMC) to declare war on Mallams and Fetish Priests broadcasting live on television and radio in the country.
The digital television platform has been inundated with spiritualism and magic money displayed by these fetish priests, Mallams and self –acclaimed pastors.
Ghanaians have expressed displeasure about how Mallams and Fetish Priests broadcast live on Television and Radio as a conduit used in duping unsuspecting people with their tricks.
The National Media Commission recently revealed that it has no power to revoke or ban spiritualist from live broadcasts or advertising their works on television.
Prophet Elisha Arhin in an interview with Ambassador Community Project hosted by Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo expressed worry about Mallams and Fetish Priests broadcasting live on Television and Radio stations in the country.
According to him, “Ghana is no longer a Christian country since Mallams and Fetish Priests are taking over televisions and radio stations”
“It is time government, Inspector-General of Police and National Media Commission ban those broadcasting live on television and radio stations. We shouldn’t pamper them because I don’t see why we are allowing Mallams or Fetish Priests to sit on Television or radio station to give money rituals. No serious country will entertain that development” Prophet Elisha Arhin fumed.
The Man of God attributed high rate of murder and accident cases to activities of these Mallams and Fetish Priests
“No Mallam or Fetish Priest will perform money rituals without human blood. They will come on radio and television stations and deceive people that they don’t use human blood for rituals but when you go there they will demand blood from you. I don’t understand why government is entertaining them”.
He explained that those Mallams and Fetish Priests get blood from numerous accident occurring in the country from their clients.
