The general secretary of the National Democratic Congress NDC yesterday graduated with a Masters degree in Defense and International Politics from the Armed Forces Staff College, Ghana.
Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito is the longest serving general secretary of a political party in Ghana and this achievement will further cement his reputation and enrich his knowledge in politics and governance.
Presenting the certificates to the graduands was the Vice president of the republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who humorously said the Mr. Asiedu Nketiah was acquiring the Certificate to further bolster his chances of being picked as a running mate tot the flagbearer of the NDC, Ex-president John Mahama in the upcoming 2020 general elections.
The vice president on a more serious note, congratulated Mr. Asiedu on bagging the masters to add to his rich experience in the political arena, intimating it was an indication that it was never too late to acquire knowledge.
