The Ashanti regional imam of Al sunnah wal jammat, sheikh Ismail saeed Adam donated food items to less privil eges in the Ashanti region over current Lockdown which kumasi is included.
He made this donation on Tuesday morning at Sakafia school in the Asokore Mampong municipality, an area in the sawaba neighborhood.
During his presentation of the food items, he said that, Each and every one who has the capacity to help each other in times of this crisis should not hesitate because that is what islam is about.
However, He is urging all imams to try and help the less privileges by contacting those he thinks they are wealthy enough to help because no one is working during this pandemic coronavirus which has led to the Lockdown of some towns which kumasi and its environs are included.
Also, he said that people should abide by the govt directives and other information given out to help fight the virus and also not contracting the virus.
He lamented that, no body should joke with the hand washing , applying of hand sanitizers, social Distancing are all part of the directives given by the govt.
He said each and everyone should make it possible to practice it.
He concluded that, by donating to less privileges in this worldwide era of the pandemic coronavirus, Allah will reward you Abundantly
