Approve The 2022 Budget Or Else We’ll Embark On Demonstration – NPRO To Parliament

Ghanaian Alliance drivers are pressing parliament to accept the 2022 budget or they will stage a protest.

According to Mr Kwaku Boateng, the National Public Relations Officer of Alliance Drivers Ghana, they pleaded with the president to remove the tollbooth, instead suggesting a toll levy, and then sent a letter to the president, the parliament house, the roads and highways minister, the transport and finance ministers.

He expressed gratitude to those who recognized the merits of their plan and worked to ensure that it was included in the 2022 budget so that it might become a national policy.

“We have no doubt that this new order will be a game-changer for our economy, as the benefits to our country will be enormous.”
Since they have an interest in the 2022 budget, he is urging and telling the speaker and members of parliament to prioritize the national interest by adopting and voting in favor of the budget.

He concluded by stating that they will vigorously oppose any attempt by any group of people to stymie the nation’s progress by rejecting the budget.
