The Minister of Finance, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta has stated that President Akufo-Addo has redeemed “virtually all the pledges he made to the people of Ghana”.

Among the promises, he listed include the provision of access to secondary education to 1.2million Ghanaian students by 2020, the completion of 200 dams and the Planting for Food and Jobs programme which he said had benefited 1.9million people.

“Mr Speaker, the numbers indeed don’t lie and I have some numbers that make interesting reading…”.

Mr Ofori-Atta made this known when he delivered the 2020 Budget Statement today in Parliament.
