The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, October 7 commissioned streetlights in the Upper East regional capital, Bolgatanga.
This forms part of the President’s greatest achievement since he was voted into power in 2016 by the good people of Ghana.
The street lights which have been described by the Regional Minister who doubles as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Navrongo Central as Ultramodern, were put on by the President as the Bolgtanaga Regional Hospital roundabout by the President when darkness fell.
This was done amid show and display of excitement from the party’s followers in the region who expressed gratitude to the President for remembering them and providing them with streetlights.
However, others are of the view that commissioning of streetlights should never be the President’s work.
They argue that because he’s not done much for the region, authorities in the region are trying so hard to get something for the President to commission in order to make it appear as though they working.
