Akufo-Addo Appointees Becoming Richer Than The Government – Charles Owusu

Former Director of Operations for the Forestry Commission Charles Owusu has said appointees of the Akufo-Addo led government are bent on amassing wealth to themselves.

Reacting to the sale of the Achimota forest, he said some government appointees are determined to be richer than the government and therefore greedily selling state properties without conscience.

Charles Owusu believes the Owoo family are not the only beneficiaries of some portions of the Achimota forest and has dared the sector minister to publish names of these beneficiaries to prove him wrong.

“It’s sad because individuals are becoming richer than the government. People who are given the opportunity to serve in government take the position as their personal property and do what they want to become rich. It’s just like the Agyapa deal they want to introduce, that’s not the solution,” he said on OKAY FM.
