Self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Charles Nii-Armah Mensah Jnr, widely known in the music industry as Shatta Wale has revealed that he’s no longer a Ghanaian but a Nigerian and jokingly asked Adonko Bitters to sign him as brand ambassador.
His tweet follows the decision by the FDA to ban celebrities not to advertise alcoholic products.
The FDA explained that the ban is an adherence to a World Health Organization (WHO) policy and efforts to ensure that minors are protected from being lured into alcoholism.
Because of the ban, popular alcoholic beverage drink produced in Ghana by Adonko Company Limited a subsidiary of the Angel Group of Companies, Adonko Bitters signed Nigerian celebrities to be their ambassadors, a move that has not made some Ghanaian celebs happy.
So in this tweet by Shatta Wale, he comically said his name his new name is Shatta Ike Chwuku Wale hence he is eligible to be signed by the company.
