Lois, a beloved character in one of Ghana’s most popular TV shows, ‘Things We Do for Love,’ has died, according to reports.
Adjetey Annan (Pusher), the series’ primary character from the early 2000s, announced Lois’ death on social media today, January 21, 2022.
The Ghanaian actress captioned clips from the TV series in which Lois was filmed in full character: ”
In the year 2000 u joined the #thingswedoforlove family, u brought with u such youthful exuberance making your character as “Lois” a memorable one. Marlene, we part ways with u too soon! We thank God for your life and example, growing into a young lady with a passion to live for Christ. My deepest condolences to your family. The Lord will watch over them. RIP.”
However, the cause of Lois’ death is uncertain.
After seeing Adjetey Annan’s tweet, Ghanaians flocked to his comment area to express their sorrow and sympathize with the actor.
Marlene, as she was known in real life, was a freaky and headstrong young girl who was also recognized for her thick American accent.
Lois was a complete chatterbox in addition to her ‘stubborn girl’ role.
