Multiple award winning Ghanaian child actor, Abraham Attah Nii after the successes of his debut screen work Beasts of No Nations has been starred in a new movie due out soon.
The new movie titled Out of the Village explores the social and cultural impact of the Ebola epidemic which hit some parts of the West African sub region from the perspective of an orphaned brother and his sister.
Abraham Attah plays the role of the orphaned brother.
Although not out already, Out of the Village has won two awards including Best International Short Film at Foyle Film Festival 2015 and Best International Film at Show Me Shorts Film Festival 2015.
It was also nominated for Best Film at Flickerfest International Short Film Festival 2016 and Evolution International Film Festival 2015.
The movie was shot in West Africa with a local cast and crew.
It was Executive produced by American film director, film producer, writer, and actor Bryan Singer (X-Men).
