A pregnant woman was stabbed to death in her bed in her bed as she slept alongside her husband.
Jennifer Kunadu was stabbed to death and her husband Timothy was knifed several times in armed attack around 3:00 am on Friday 5 May 2020
Two men armed with knives broke into the family’s self-contained. Mr Mensah, a carpenter died almost instantly, police said. The couple’s unborn child also died.
Mr Mensah survived the attack and was flown to nearby hospital, were he will undergo surgery. The couple’s son was unharmed.
He remains in the hospital with severe upper-blood injuries, police said.
Police spokesman Captain Kumi Jefferson was quoted by local report as saying that friends of the couple who were staying at the next door awoke to ” shouting and a struggle”.
