Afrobarometre survey by the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) has revealed that the majority of Ghanaians are not happy with the work of the president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.
70% of Ghanaians disapprove or strongly disapprove of the performed duty of the President over the past 12 months, the survey found.
However, 30% approve or strongly approve of his works done over the past one year.
CDD-Ghana notes that positive ratings of the president’s performance have declined by 31 percentage points between 2019 and 2022, from 61% to 30%.
On the other hand, 71% of Ghanaians disapprove or strongly disapprove of the work done by Members of Parliament (MPs) over the last one year but 28% feel otherwise.
Additionally, 61% of Ghanaians disapprove of the work done by Assembly men and women over the last twelve months.
In all the survey says that “Majorities of Ghanaians rate the performance of the president, their MP, and their Assembly Members as “fairly bad” or “very bad””.
