2nd suspect in Prof. Benneh’s murder case hospitalized a week after prime suspect’s death

The Kaneshie District Court presided over by Her Honour Ama Adomah Kwakye has been informed that another suspect in the murder of Prof Yaw Benneh has been hospitalized.

Opmapbour Agya Badu Nkansah has been hospitalized after he fell sick and is currently on admission at the Police Hospital.

However the third suspect  Ebenezer Kwayisi, alias Junior was arraigned before court but the Prosecutor pleaded that the case be adjourned in order for the docket to be consolidated.

Her Honour Ama Adomah Kwakye agreed to adjourn the case November 9.

They are on provisional charges of conspiracy and murder.

It could be remembered that the prime suspect James Nana Womba was reported dead last week after he took ill.

Police say an autopsy has been run on him to ascertain the cause of his death and are currently awaiting for the report.
