Two fake Power Distribution Services (PDS) workers have been arrested by Teacher Mante residents in the Ayensuano District of Eastern region.
The fake PDS workers were said to come from Nsawam in the eastern region with their names being, Okai Samuel 26years student at Coalta Senior High school and Owusu Ansah prince 27 years student at Accra Technical University.
The two suspects were disconnecting Teacher Mante residents metres and extorting monies from them when they fail to pay the amount mentioned by the two suspects.
The residents handed the suspects to the Kibi police for further investigations.
The Eastern regional Public Relations Officer (PRO) for PDS, Madam Mary Eshun has confirmed to the media about the case and appealed to citizens of the Region to be vigilant always by those who come to their homes for light bills.
She added that they should always give PDS information so that they can quickly intervene in all situations because they are there to serve Ghanaians.
