Do you remember the 17-year-old girl who got ‘arrested’ by Police for defying lockdown order? Apparently, the teenage girl who stays with her parents at Odorkor said she was going to visit her boyfriend at Madina and she took two more friends in her age range along with her.
She got stopped by the Police and some UTV crew at the scene decided to interview them where they revealed this.
Touched by her story, the TV crew decided to make a follow-up to the young girl’s house where they discovered that she stays in a small kiosk together with her step-dad, mother and 6 other siblings.
Their story touched the heart of many Ghanaians and they have decided to come to their aid.
From a new report published by UTV Ghana, MP for Ablekuma North Hon. Nana Akua Afriyie has rented out a chamber and hall apartment for this young lady and her family.
As it isn’t enough, they’ve received thousands of Ghana cedis cash gifts in addition to several foodstuffs, a refrigerator & a 43″ TV from KAB FAM Ghana Ltd.
Their lives have turned around for the better.
The mother of 7 in the interview thanked all and sundry for coming to their aid.
