1 Million Technology Jobs Under The Next NDC Government In 4 Years is Possible – Bukom Banku

Renowned Ghanaian boxer cum TV presenter, Braimah Kamoko affectionately called Bukom Banku says the One million technology jobs under the next NDC Government in 4 years is possible.

According to him, It’s really annoying how the NDC communication team is not talking about the best NDC manifesto promise which is the technology policy. The world is fast moving and working from home is becoming the new normal. This technology policy in the NDC Manifesto proposes to teach the Ghanaian youth how to code.

Achieving 1 million jobs is so so possible when the youth who spend so much time in Internet cafes engaging in cyber crimes will now have an opportunity to learn how to code and put those computer skills to proper use. It takes 30 days to learn the basics of a computer language. And this technology policy will teach the youth how to make apps, robotics engineering, VR, AI.

They will become the next Mark Zuckerbergs, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs.

Imagine a Ghana where every young adult knows how and understands computer language.

Whoever on the NDC manifesto team that suggested that policy deserves a pat on the back. And you know why I trust John Mahama to deliver? He built the Accra Digital Centre.

1 million technology jobs under the next NDC Government in 4 years is possible. That is training and equipping 250,000 youth with different computer programming skills every year.

The NDC can start with the youth who spend hours in Internet cafes engaging in cyber crimes. Those kids as young as 12 years already have basic computing skills and knowledge. Add computer programming to what they already know. Teach them the basics first, spread them across the regions of Ghana, put them into bootcamps and task them to come up with practical solutions to our problems.

Youth trained in building apps, softwares, Artifical Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Algorithms and complexity, Architecture and organization, Computational science, Graphics and visual computing, Human computer interaction, Information management, Intelligent systems, Networking and communication.

THAT IS THE FUTURE; John Dramani Mahama is a visionary leader, He Added.
